CULTURE WITH SOCOTEC SOCOTEC has launched an online shop where users can purchase a wide range of professional health and safety training courses and personal protective equipment (PPE).
With over 70 training courses to choose from – including asbestos awareness online training, mental health, first aid and construction site safety – the new shop will equip users with the skills and competencies required to remain fully compliant with health and safety/environmental legislation and guidelines in the workplace.
Both classroom-based and e-learning courses are available, all of which can be delivered privately in-
house or at the organisation’s dedicated training facility in Towcester, Northamptonshire. Each course will be delivered by SOCOTEC’s team of professional consultants, who have a wealth of experience in health and safety management and environmental risk. There is also the option of attending an open course, which are offered across SOCOTEC’s additional training facilities in London, Cardiff and the Midlands.
In addition, the shop offers delegates the opportunity to participate in accredited professional training from nationally recognised bodies such as UKATA, IOSH, NEBOSH, City & Guilds, CITB and Qualsafe, as well as to purchase refresher training to keep up-to-date with health and safety legislation and any industry changes.
To further ensure that users are equipped with the tools to remain compliant with workplace health and safety legislation, SOCOTEC’s new shop also allows users to purchase a selection of PPE, including harnesses, lanyards and the MSA Latchways Personal Rescue Device and Removable Transfastener.
