The basic system consists of a comprehensive range of aluminium profiles and accessories manufactured the company’s factory in Germany. At the UK base in Basingstoke they provide a full design and advisory service to the client including, should this be required, assembly of the system on site.
One of the key features of the system from MiniTec, which underlines the advantages of such a flexible and economically-sustainable system is the unique locking mechanism. At the heart of the MiniTec system is the unique Powerlock ® fastening method which requires no specific
preparation, pre-machining or special tools and uses standard off-the-shelf fasteners. The use of standard M8 fasteners reduces the cost of the overall package of profiles and locking system considerably, compared with many other systems that incorporate brand specific locking systems. Thus the only tool required to set up or dismantle a system is an Allen Key.
Precisely because the system uses standard fasteners means that structures can be easily dismantled and set up again using the original components. This is perfect for dealing with new factory layouts and keeps wastage of valuable assets to a minimum.
Modular aluminium profile systems and components are not complex, yet the design requirements of many customers are often limitless. In this case it is very important that the load and stress bearing capacities of the modular components are not exceeded and that the end product, whether a work bench, conveyor system or even mobile sports seating units are actually capable of bearing the loads that they will be carrying.
