Hello and welcome to the summer edition of Tomorrow’s Health & Safety, I hope you’re all well and finally settling back into normality after the antics of

the show. We’ve got a busy issue for you this month so there should be plenty to keep you occupied until the autumn publication.

In our Working at Height section we have advice on selecting the correct MEWPs, tips on tanker safety and Access North Structures discuss a recent

case study where they safety cleaned and maintained a tricky roof structure in a Nottingham-based school.

Elsewhere we are looking at Asbestos Management, with comment from PPC on how to safely remove dangerous fibres from flooring, and in our Protecting Eyes & Ears feature we’ve tips on selecting the correct equipment, plus advice on noise levels and monitoring in workspaces.

This month in our Fire Safety section we have all the usual advice and information and also comment from experts on recent events surrounding the Grenfell Tower disaster and steps that should be taken to prevent further tragedy.

We also have a new section for you this month, Health & Safety Standards &

Regulations, in which we look at recent regulation changes, and the impact that new standards have had on the industry so far.

Also in this issue we have the latest HSE action in our In the Courts segment,

plus RedArc’s Christine Husbands answers our 10 Questions; she talks about healing super powers and dinner with Richard Branson, so there should be enough to entertain you until next time!
