SHAKEN AND STIRRED: FILMING ON BOND 25 LEAVES CREW
MEMBER INJURED Production of the new James Bond film has, once again, suffered a setback after a controlled explosion by the special effects team went wrong, leaving a crew member with a minor injury.
The official James Bond Twitter account explained: “During the filming of a controlled explosion on the set of Bond 25 at Pinewood Studios, damage was caused to the exterior of the 007 Stage. There were no injuries on set, however one crew member outside the stage has sustained a minor injury.”
The incident is the latest setback for the Cary Fukunaga- directed 007 movie. In May, the producers announced that Daniel Craig would be undergoing ankle surgery after suffering an injury on set.
The HSE are reported to have started an investigation at England-based Pinewood Studios, where production is taking place.

Quoting an ‘inside source’, tabloid newspaper The Sun said: “There were three huge explosions and it’s blown part of the Bond stage off and some wall panels off the stage. There were three loud explosions, one after another, and a member of the crew was lying on the floor outside the building injured.
“Forget new villain Rami Malek, the only people putting the stoppers on 007 right now are the government suits.
“They marched in with their briefcases and told the Bond bigwigs they were investigating what had gone on. It takes a lot to put Bond in his place, but this lot have.”
Nineteen Group Director Tim Else commented: “There is no other event in the North of England providing this level of education, debate and networking for professionals whose job involves health and safety and fire safety.
“We have the backing of key industry association, have an unparalleled line up of free educational content and an exhibition showcasing the latest innovations in the sector. EventCity is easy to get to and offers free parking for all delegates. So, this an event not to be missed.”
