RRC International Wednesday saw Tomorrow’s Health and Safety call in on RRC International, the online course providers who came 3rd

in this year’s awards.

RRC provides a range of health, safety and environmental management courses to meet the needs of organisations seeking to improve their performance as well as individuals looking to achieve internationally recognised qualification or improve their skills and knowledge. RRC has successfully trained more than 60,000 people in 208 countries.

We briefly caught up with Managing Director Gary Fallaize. He said: “Being recognised for our online courses is a credit to our continual hard work. Our experience and expertise, gained over 90 years, allows us to provide our clients with internationally respected classroom, online and in-company training solutions that make a real difference to their HSE performance.”

WHAT LIES AHEAD? Speaking of the success of the exhibition, Event Director Chris Edwards commented: “The substantial increase in footfall we saw this year and the high- quality of visitors Safety & Health Expo attracts, really demonstrates how significant the event remains for the health and safety profession.

The stand-out feature of the show was the content. While the exhibitors were diverse and impressive, the real pull for many attendees was the opportunity to

learn, debate and discuss with fellow health and safety professionals. Yes, we could learn the majority of the content shared online without the inconvenience of having to leave our desk, but it’s clear that we still want to continue meeting, networking and conversing with likeminded people and will do for years to come.

Next year, Safety & Health Expo will take place on 19- 21 May 2020. The official line is that the date change, announced earlier this year, has been made so that the event will better reflect the industry calendar and give exhibitors and visitors a longer period of time in which to continue their conversations before the summer period.
