Hello and welcome to the July/August issue of Tomorrow’s Health & Safety.

Last month Safety & Health Expo (SHExpo) returned to London’s ExCel for another successful show and organisers have reported a 3% increase in visitors on last year. It was fantastic to see the event so busy and the exhibitor stands brimming with activity.

As well as showcasing the latest products on the market, some of the industry’s biggest companies, including Alcumus, RRC International and Reactec, took the opportunity to launch new products at the exhibition.

Event highlights included the CPD-accredited seminars on a range of issues including legislation, technology and incident reporting, all of which were well attended. The three key note speakers: Steph McGovern, Eddie ‘the Eagle’ Edwards and Jonny Wilkinson were a major attraction and pulled huge crowds.

To find out more about the SHExpo highpoints and what the Tomorrow’s Health & Safety team got up to, turn to page 36 where THS Editor Ryan Lloyd has written a full show review.

Also in this issue, we shine the spotlight on Working at Height with insightful articles on designing buildings with a height safety systems in mind, the new safety standards that are driving improvements in working practices and top tips for training.

As well as all of this, we have features covering Ear & Eye Protection, Technology, and Respiratory Health.

I hope you enjoy reading. EDITOR’S VOICE
