The XR3 meets both the EN ISO 20345 standard and the requirements of Safety Class S3. Although designed with wearer safety at the forefront, this has not come at the expense of comfort. Workers spend long hours on their feet, and the ankle support system and ground impact cushioning work in tandem to minimise the risks of strains, sprains and other foot injuries associated with long periods of activity.
Working environments, both indoors and out, provide a series of comfort challenges from changing climates, weather exposure and foot temperatures. The HAIX Climate System ensures proper air circulation, with vent holes removing heat and moisture. The Gore-Tex membrane and rugged bull-leather maintain high breathability while keeping feet dry, and inbuilt Sun Reflect properties ensures the boot will not overheat, even in direct sunlight.
