EcoTek from SW Safety is a nitrile treatment that accelerates the break-down of single use gloves in landfill without any performance loss. Currently available in three styles, EcoTek will be the standard for all SW nitrile gloves in the future.
Tested and certified by third party institutes not just for biodegradability, but also ecotoxicity & safety, single use gloves from SW Safety are the new benchmark for peak performance and safety in single use gloves. Normal disposable gloves will take over a century to finally break down, but EcoTek gloves, tested to ASTM D5526-12 and are certified to biodegrade by a minimum of 92.6% in just 2.5 years.

In addition to being kind to the environment, EcoTek gloves, like all single use gloves from SW Safety are certified as ‘Skin Safe’ by the Skin Health Alliance. This is because they are cleaned post-production and as a result will contain up to 75% less residual contaminants than most of our competitors, thereby reducing the risk of inflammation of occupational skin conditions or product contamination.
Utilising proprietary dipping technology, single use gloves from SW Safety have a consistent thickness from cuff to fingertip, meaning a stronger glove that offers better tactile sensitivity than most other nitrile disposables.
