Sponsored by Loo Of The Year
ARE YOUR WASHROOMS OR THOSE YOU FACILITATE AWARD WINNERS?
This is the 35th year of the Loo of the Year Awards (LOYA) to promote the best ‘Away
from Home’ washrooms across the UK and Ireland. How does your company assess how clean and well maintained the washrooms are that you are responsible for? How do you benchmark your achievements against your competitors? Does your company and its cleaning staff receive recognition for a job well done?
Overall winning team 2021 from Paultons Park.
Washroom Cleaner of the Year Awards The Washroom Cleaner of the Year Awards are a unique and integral part of the Loo of the Year Awards but relate specifically to the cleaning staff that look after facilities, rather than the washrooms themselves.
All attendants and/or cleaning staff employed by the entrant and working at the entry location will be automatically entered for a Washroom Cleaner of the Year Award.
Enter now Entries are now being received for the 2022 Loo of the Year Awards to find the best places ‘Away from Home’. The closing date for entries is 31 July 2022, and you can enter online via our website or email
information@loo.co.uk.
Entries are accepted from anywhere in England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.
Now more than ever, entering washrooms into the annual Loo of the Year Awards is a way of receiving an in-depth independent assessment and recognition of the standards achieved based on the washroom standard for the UK and Ireland. Show the public how clean and safe your washrooms are.
Becky Wall, Managing Director of the Loo of the Year Awards, said: “The entries for 2021 have been on a par with previous years; but the standard has improved, with many of the Inspectors awarding a high average of Platinum grades. We were also able – third time lucky – to hold our awards event in February 2022, and the LOYA team took great pleasure in meeting the entrants and celebrating at the event with them.
“I would also like to thank the sponsors this year which have been headline sponsor Accrol Group and the two associate sponsors, P-Wave and Citron Hygiene, for all their support.”
Why enter? The Loo of the Year Awards are recognised as the only National Standard for ‘Away from Home’ washrooms. Entrants enjoy a valuable and cost-effective way of receiving an in-depth independent assessment of the standard of their washrooms. Award winners benefit from National and Social Media coverage and the prestige of providing the very best facilities.
Many leading cleaning and FM companies and agents for commercial buildings use their Loo of the Year Awards success as evidence of the quality of their service.
