MAPPING OUT THE FUTURE OF CLEANING
Tomorrow's FM speaks to Matt Kuwertz, Commercial Director at Principle Cleaning Services, about the company’s latest technological innovation, 3D Mapping, and how it is helping to shape the cleaning industry.
Principle believes it has always strived to be at the forefront of the cleaning industry and as pioneers of new technology, the company is constantly seeking new ways of working, having trialled hundreds of innovative new products over the past decade and utilising the latest innovative and technology-driven equipment on-site as soon as it comes to market, as well as developing smart solutions of its own.
“We see innovation and technology as intrinsically linked,” says Matt Kuwertz. "This is an area of the cleaning industry which is getting more and more advanced with many companies, including Principle, investing in research and development.”

wanted to find a way in which clients could visualise multiple assets and environments in one place at the same time and give its management teams vital information to increase efficiency and add value for clients.
Kuwertz says: “After identifying a gap in the market for the monitoring of cleaning progress on either portfolios of properties for one client or mixed use estates that are becoming very popular due to the communities they create; we developed 3D Mapping. We took this idea and developed an interactive map that enables facilities managers to see the cleaning results and trends for multiple properties in addition to parts of an estate.”
