A jet vac tanker and a CCTV drainage survey team from the Lanes Cardiff depot were deployed to carry out the work. The drainage system included standard surface water pipes and a network of filter pipes, which collect water from surrounding ground.


ARMOURED VEHICLE TEST SITE GETS DRAINAGE


ALL CLEAR Drainage engineers from Lanes Group plc have carried out cleaning and surveying of surface drains serving a new armoured fighting vehicle test facility in South Wales.


They were called in to ensure the drainage system at the facility was in optimum condition with no blockages before it was handed over following its installation.

JUDGING COMPLETED The Loo of the Year Awards inspection team have now completed the inspection of thousands of 2018 Loo of the Year Awards entrants washrooms throughout the UK.


They have travelled thousands of miles by road, sea and air have visited towns/cities from Wick in Scotland to The Islands of Scilly and Londonderry in Northern Ireland to Lowestoft in East Anglia. Early analysis of entry grading indicates some exceptional washrooms will be competing for the large range of awards available.

vehicle assembly, integration, and testing facility at Merthyr Tydfil in Mid Glamorgan.


General Dynamics UK has been awarded contracts worth £3.9bn to deliver and service 589 AJAX armoured fighting vehicles for the British Army until 2024.


The test track, built by Griffiths Civil Engineering and Construction, allows the military vehicles to be fully tested before they are handed over to the Army.
