Another smart system that is improving standards and boosting visitor satisfaction in airports is ‘Cleaning via What’sApp’. This is a simple way of attracting visitor feedback: messages featuring contact details are displayed on cleaners’ trolleys encouraging passengers to use the What’sApp platform to highlight any cleaning issues. This empowers washroom visitors to ensure that the facilities they use remain clean and well stocked at all times.
Technology is becoming a growing facet of our washroom experience – which is only fitting considering that around three-quarters of us now take our smartphones into the toilet with us, according to a number of polls.

apps that invite people to rate public toilets are becoming increasingly widely used.
It may therefore be argued that smart solutions are not always strictly necessary in the washroom. They are however, a huge asset since they are helping to drive up standards, generate more custom, improve the user experience, enhance accessibility, boost profits and - in the case of Tork EasyCube - ensure that the washrooms are better equipped and more efficiently managed.
As technology becomes smarter still, it will no doubt be considered an even more integral part of washroom management in the not-too-distant future.
