DEMENTIA, CARE & NURSING HOME EXPO
It’s Showtime!
What can you expect if you’re visiting the Dementia, Care & Nursing Home Expo 2020? Let’s find out…
Thousands of health and social care sector professionals are set to descend on Birmingham’s NEC this March, as the Dementia, Care & Nursing Home Expo returns for another year.
From 17th - 18th March, around 5,000 care, nursing and
residential care home owners and senior management teams are expected to attend the event, along with commissioning directors from local councils, NHS trusts and CCGs.
The exhibition will also feature over 300 exclusively-selected exhibitors, 50 interactive masterclasses, hosted by QCS and KareInn, and 150 CPD-accredited seminars that will shape the future of social care.
Commenting on the event, Marketing Director Ashlea Gilfoy said: “In what has been a turbulent year for the social care industry, with a general election and question marks over future budgets, one thing has remained consistent-the vital work carried out every day by social care workers.
“Despite the hard work and dedication of those who work in the social care industry, there is still more to be done. The industry needs to evolve in order to offer effective, person- centred care for every person in the UK that needs it. The Dementia, Care & Nursing Home Expo vows to help the advancement of the social care industry by inspiring business growth and a sustainable social care model.”

On the supplier side, Andrew Parfery, Co-founder & CEO at Care Sourcer, will discuss how to win more care clients in 2020; and Hilary Woodhead, Executive Director of NAPA (National Activity Providers Association), will be looking into the whole home approach – recognising need, skills and building connections.
NEW FOR 2020
The Dementia, Care & Nursing Expo will be hosting an Activities Arena in association with NAPA. This arena is your unique opportunity to explore a range of interactive activities that are not only proven to maintain and improve your residents’ health and mental wellbeing, but also fun initiatives ready for you to try out yourself and introduce into your care home!
That’s not all! The Expo is also working closely with CQC to deliver the CQC Inspector Hub. This will be running across the two days from stand D834.
