COVER STORY

blood pressure and oxygen saturation. These devices, which can be embedded in the physical things around us, can gather and share valuable information directly with each other and the cloud, making it possible to collect, record and analyse new data streams faster and more accurately, improving the entire system of client care, not to mention the client experience. This was very exciting for Dania, as she wanted to use more technology to monitor her clients.

Dania was involved in a pilot study for Zuri, using new IOT devices in some of her client’s homes, including the use of the new Zuri Client Portal and the new Zuri App. As Zuri are experts in providing care agencies and residential care homes with the technology they require to optimise the care service they offer to their clients in a virtual environment, Dania felt that this was ideal. Zuri’s end-to-end care management solutions offered her clients’ family members peace of mind, knowing that their loved ones were not only being cared for by her carers, using the latest, market-leading care management soſtware, but their daily care, medication needs, and activities were being monitored by cutting-edge, innovative IOT sensory technology by Zuri. This is something that Dania feels care agencies and care homes should take advantage of, using

this technology to optimise the care service that they offer to their clients by being informed of all their clients’ activities in a virtual environment. They can then allocate care workers more efficiently based on carefully-analysed human behaviour rather than rigid time slots, creating a more person-centred environment.

With Zuri being able to offer a full care management solution, designed to provide real-time visibility to all stakeholders involved in a client’s care, whether in their own home, or in a care setting, Dania felt that this met all her requirements.

Commenting on her experience, Dania said: “Zuri was the perfect fit for us.”

Dania was also pleased to hear that not only is Zuri’s aim to provide management solutions for care providers, but also to work with their partners that are like-minded in having care records that are visible to all, including the family, GP’s and pharmacy, and allied professionals, through their published open API, enabling simple and easy integration between other soſtware platforms.
