EmployAbility by Surrey Choices
EmployAbility, Surrey Choices’ nationally recognised and award-winning Supported Employment service, is dedicated to helping disabled, autistic, and neurodivergent people achieve meaningful employment, volunteering, and work experience opportunities. Our person-centred approach ensures every individual receives tailored support to reach their aspirations and build a fulfilling career.
Company Profile
Surrey Choices empowers disabled, autistic, and neurodivergent people to live active, fulfilling lives within their communities. Through person-centred support, skilled colleagues, and inclusive opportunities, we help individuals build relationships, gain independence, and achieve personal goals. Guided by our mission Every Life, Every Chance, we enable people to live life their way.
We work with around 700 jobseekers each year, including adults and young people, using our proven Place, Train, Maintain model to develop skills, match people to the right roles, and provide sustained support throughout their employment journey. This model follows the five stages of Supported Employment – Participant Engagement, Vocational Profiling, Job Matching, Engaging Employers, and In-Work Support & Career Development – ensuring a structured, personalised pathway from first contact to long-term success. Each participant is partnered with a dedicated Employment Support Specialist who offers bespoke guidance, from identifying strengths and writing CVs to interview preparation, job coaching, and career development. Once in work, our Keep in Touch (KIT) programme provides ongoing assistance to help people thrive and maintain employment.
