As part of its personal residents’ clothing laundry service, each resident’s garments are collected in a labelled, fully traceable mesh bag with a unique QR code, ensuring nothing is lost, misplaced or mixed. Laundering takes place at Elis’s dedicated care home facility in Bridgwater, where optimal wash temperatures, specialist detergents and processes deliver hygienic, consistent results that meet HTM 01-04 standards whilst maintaining fabric integrity, and each garment being handled with care by our dedicated team. Every individual resident’s clothing is laundered and handled separately, then returned to the right resident – ensuring a truly personal service that offers a real, quality alternative to laundering in house in a care home, that can save money and improve sustainability for the home too.
