WHAT'S NEW? CARE SAFE TAKES NEW DIRECTION WITH FRANCHISE EXPANSION
Care Safe, the tech-enabled provider transforming home-based healthcare, is embarking on a new stage of growth aſter launching in 2023 with a mission to revolutionise healthcare delivery across the UK. Having achieved a proven track record as a unified care platform that connects primary care, social care, transport and home support, Care Safe is starting a new phase of its development and is poised to set up as a franchisor, having determined that this will be the most successful way of achieving its vision in the future.
Established in four locations across the UK, in London, Telford, Port Talbot and Essex, Care Safe provides UK-wide access to comprehensive round-the-clock, healthcare solutions and services including an extensive range of direct-to-doorstep healthcare services, such as transportation, blood tests and personal care for individual customers as well as for care homes, NHS Trusts, corporates and insurance companies. Care Safe has other initiatives and plans in development which it believes will add to its appeal as a franchise opportunity.
Samit Kumar Biswas, CEO & Founder at Care Safe, has recently attended several overseas trips looking at what different countries are facing in terms of domiciliary care provision. “Two things became very apparent”, he said. “Firstly, the UK is facing the same challenge as almost every country around the world and secondly a health tech startup with a proven commercial pipeline is a rare success. This has given me the optimism to decide now is the right strategic time to scale the business further.”
As the franchisor, Care Safe is responsible for the brand and franchisees will be awarded exclusivity by region. Ongoing support will include training and marketing and national outreach for further business opportunities, passing these to the local franchisee for delivery.
A good example of this is Essex where in November last year, Care Safe was awarded a place on Essex County Council’s new ‘Live at Home’ Framework as a Tier 2 provider of domiciliary care services across the county. And in February 2026, Care Safe’s Telford office, which opened in April 2025, received a Good rating for local care by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) for its provision of domiciliary, or personal care, to local patients.
