Nilfisk introduce their new and unique compact scrubber dryer, and explain why it’s ideal for those hard-to-reach and confined areas.
The Nilfisk-Advance Group is marketing a new, compact scrubber dryer ideal for daily cleaning in small areas. The Nilfisk SC351 is a compact machine with a unique rotating deck that can scrub and dry in both forwards and backwards direction. Using a simple control, the operator can turn the deck, therefore scrubbing in both directions providing excellent performance and manoeuvrability.
Ideal to clean even hard to reach areas, the SC351 is perfect for hotels, schools, small shops, offices, canteens and coffee shops. A low noise level (of just 64dB(A)) enables daytime cleaning in the most sensitive of environments, which is particularly useful these days, given the trend in recent years towards the daytime cleaning of hard floors over carpets, reducing the allergen risk and cost of periodic carpet cleans. A key machine within this arena is therefore a compact scrubber dryer, like the SC351, which will scrub and dry the floor in a single pass.

equipment doesn’t necessarily need to be moved for daily cleaning. There are generally ideal times for staff to carry out specific tasks and a plan needs to be engineered around the building, its’ people and their functions, but the SC351 allows the operator the flexibility to carry out immediate daytime cleaning tasks with minimal disruption to the surrounding areas.
Well thought out design elements include an ergonomic adjustable handle that folds away for storage and transportation, a robust plastic deck with large bumper rollers and a spring system for shock absorption, all of which add to the products many benefits. The intuitive controls ensure that the Nilfisk SC351 requires minimal staff training and maintenance is also fast and simple, but there is a removable two-tank system with transparent plastic lids and rubber- protected handles, which also makes them easy to carry. No tools are required for regular maintenance tasks including charging and changing the squeegee blade, which has a patented retaining system.
The SC351 is the latest example of Nilfisk’s constant improvement and refinement of their high quality professional cleaning machines.
