When a luxury country house hotel was in need of a durable flooring solution that would complement its historic surroundings, Eternity Parquet from CFS Flooring was the natural choice.

Set in outstanding rolling parkland on the borders of County Durham and Tyne & Wear, Beamish Hall has its roots in the 13th century when it was gifted to celebrate the wedding between two Norman families.


Its only fitting then, that the historic hall is now often used for weddings, events and parties. Set in 24 Acres of woodland and landscaped gardens, Beamish Hall comprises 42 individually designed bedrooms, a luxury apartment and a selection of function rooms, making it the perfect location to say ‘I do’.


The hotel has recently undergone a refurbishment to bring new life to the estate, whilst keeping the traditional look in line with the building’s heritage.


After considering options, Dave Craggs, whose family own and run Beamish Hall, chose to specify 300m2 Eternity Parquet LVT in a parquet style from CFS.

Ultimate Flooring NE installed the flooring, which would reflect the classic British heritage of the Hall. Not only would it suit the stone walls and open fires that can be found around the premises, but also provide the ability to withstand the demands of numerous events and visitors.


Eternity Parquet is a tiled LVT, available in 15 natural wood effect finishes. Eternity Parquet LVT comes with a 0.30mm wear layer, meaning that it can be cleaned regularly, without compromising the quality of the floor. It also comes with PU coating for extra surface protection, making it ideal for domestic and light commercial environments.

Used in two dining rooms, a linked seating area and a bar area, Eternity Parquet was installed around open fires and stone walls, meaning that Ultimate Flooring NE would set lines and scribe to ensure absolute precision of the tiles.
