Floor preparation equipment supplier Preptec Equipment Services have recently supplied a number of new totally enclosed shot blasting machines to specialist equipment hirer WH Surface Preparation. Following a successful trial the hirer with 4 regional UK depots decided to invest in a number of new S210 and S320 machines. Projects include new build and refurbishment of car parks, shopping centres, retail units, warehouses, bridges, ships and petrochemical tanks. The equipment propels steel abrasive at the floor surface at high velocity cleaning , texturing and removing any old contaminants. The abrasive is air washed and recycled inside the machine and the debris is removed by a connected dust collection vacuum. The equipment is dust free in operation, simple to operate and easy to maintain making it suitable for use in the hire industry by contractors and maintenance teams.
