LIFETIME WARRANTY PIQUED INSTALLER INTEREST AT THE
FLOORING SHOW The Academy for Excellence in Flooring partnered with Quick-Step for this year’s Flooring Show, explaining the benefits of its Master Installer certification scheme to visiting retailers and installers.
One of the major benefits of the Master Installer scheme is the provision of a manufacturer-backed warranty on all installation work and the Academy used the show to announce the extension of this warranty from two-years to lifetime.
“While the benefits of the Master Installer scheme are numerous for installers, one of the biggest reasons for consumers to use a Master Installer is the guarantee of exacting installation standards and with it the workmanship warranty,” commented Lee Thompson, Technical Manager at the Academy. “With an extension to the lifetime of the installation, this longer warranty has become even more compelling and its introduction certainly struck a chord with installers and retailers at the show.”
With Quick-Step’s water-resistant laminate technology a key focus of the stand, the Academy was also able to highlight the product innovation that
goes into Quick-Step laminate, wood and vinyl flooring. The Academy’s course content makes sure that installers and retailers are kept abreast of these developments; given the knowledge and learning the skills needed to maximise the advantages they bring.
