MOVE MORE WITH

MODULYSS modulyss has launched Motion /// Vision, its latest carpet tile collections. Driven by the fluidity and strength of human movement, these new collections change the rhythm of a space, moving fluidly as colours flow into dynamic texture and shifting pattern.

Made from high-performance solution-dyed PA 6 yarn developed in-house, Motion /// Vision collections deliver outstanding performance and herald a new era of product innovation for modulyss. The graduated linear Motion comes in 12 colours, while the texture of Vision is available in 13. From punk greens and acid yellows through petrol blues and chromatics, Motion /// Vision can be embraced as soloists, synchronised as duets or harnessed as collectives; bringing the impact of your rhythm to spaces.

The 1/12th gauge loop pile construction of both designs gives excellent pattern reproduction and luxurious texture while giving durability and quality for demanding commercial environments. Combatting sound by up to 26 dB (ΔLw), Motion /// Vision can also help to make work spaces quieter.

The collection comes with back2back, a recycled content modified bitumen backing and is equipped with a 15- year commercial use warranty.

The understated multi-level linear design of Tessera Seagrass relies on a combination of texture and colour to create a unique soft striated effect. So, Forbo turned to Antron Lumena carpet fibre for its ability to offer design flexibility without sacrificing performance and suitability for demanding commercial environments.

Solution-dyed for fade and stain- resistance, Antron Lumena comes in a huge array of colours that allowed Forbo to work combinations including entirely new shades of pewter, dandelion, meadow and teal. Developed with leading colour research companies and carpet manufacturers, the Antron Lumena palette reflects the latest in commercial interior trends, allowing Tessera Seagrass the scope to provide interiors with very real and earthy interpretations.

Stephan Hanke, INVISTA Antron carpet fibre, explains: “With colour an integral part of the fibre make-up, Antron Lumena is fade and stain-resistant and

can be rigorously maintained without loss of colour. However, it also means that we need to ensure the palette offered meets the needs of today’s commercial environments.

“Our R&D team works with leading colour researchers, through the Global Colour Trend Forecast, and carpet manufacturers to make sure that Antron Lumena is available in a wide- range of timeless and trend influenced colours. This allowed Forbo to expand Tessera Seagrass with new colourways appropriate for the latest interior schemes, as well as retain classic combinations including black, oyster and indigo.”

With outstanding soil resistance and a multi-hollow cross section that minimises the appearance of dirt, along with a strong molecular structure for outstanding wear performance, Antron Lumena carpet fibre ensures that the carpet tile plank of Tessera Seagrass will deliver in the busy commercial spaces for which it was designed.

In a plank format, the collection gives designers the scope to create a variety of layouts including classic herringbone and half drop patterns, all with a contemporary twist. Made with 100% renewable energy and featuring 61% recycled content, Forbo’s Tessera Seagrass embraces sustainable manufacturing and meets the requirements of SKA schemes.
