Karndean Designflooring has helped to provide


a high-class shopping experience at an exceptional boutique department store.


UK specialist in luxury vinyl flooring, Karndean Designflooring, is featured as part of the new look Sandersons Boutique Department Store at Fox Valley, North Sheffield. Looking to create a beautiful store which offers a premium retail experience, the team behind the project opted for Karndean Van Gogh Country Oak and Aged Redwood as part of the store’s luxury design concept.


Based in a prime location near the entrance to the Fox Valley development, the elegant two storey boutique hosts an array of homeware, womenswear, menswear, accessories, skincare products, beauty stands and fragrances, including a mix of popular high end brands such as Joules, Ted Baker, Benefit, Phase 8 and Masai.

The completed look features the striking blend of silver and charcoal grey found in Aged Redwood and the gentle cool mid brown of the traditional Country Oak. While Country Oak was specified for the majority of the shop floor, the two were seamlessly brought together to create an eye-catching design throughout the fitting rooms.


“We wanted to create something unique with the customers in mind,” commented Lisa Fox, store manager at Sandersons Boutique Department Store.


She continued: “The flooring is a key component of the design as it’s the backdrop to the fittings and

“We were also drawn to the hardwearing nature of the product; as well as clothes and homewares, we have a tea room, an in-house florist, a nail bar, a Benefit Brow Bar and a full diary of events, so we wanted a floor that could handle it all and would be easy to clean at the end of a busy day with thousands of visitors coming through the doors.”
