LVT from Milliken has helped to create a light, airy and modern interior at the high-end Business Centre London.
The London-based Business Centre is on a mission to revolutionise the world of serviced offices by creating business centres that nurture healthy working environments and help their tenants focus on making their businesses flourish. The organisation’s new space within Bentima House is located at the heart of the ‘Shoreditch Triangle’, which is fast becoming the largest media and tech. hub in Europe.
For this project Milliken’s Luxury Vinyl Tile product Heritage Wood was chosen. The high-quality, 10,000 square feet space has now been fitted out with light grey and white tones of Milliken’s Heritage Wood HER218. As part of its Freelay (glue -free) LVT range, it was quick, convenient and clean to install. With floor to ceiling glass walls offering spectacular city views, the space is fresh and contemporary, perfect for a modern media or tech. business.
This is the company’s second installation of Milliken’s Heritage Wood within their high-end office spaces. The company was so impressed with Milliken’s LVT product that they had installed in their Worship Street site that they specified it again for their latest office space development.
Milliken’s Freelay Heritage Wood collection is designed with a distressed, worn and stripped back appearance to offer an elegant aesthetic with powerfully historic references. It is available in four colours to complement any interior. The Freelay LVT collection includes six designs and the additional

benefit of effortless adhesive free installation, as well as excellent comfort and acoustic characteristics. Freelay LVT is particularly beneficial where regular access to underfloor facilities is needed, such as within commercial environments.
It is part of an extensive LVT range from Milliken which includes wood, stone and abstract designs. The LVT range, created using high-definition photo realistic imagery, replicates wood and stone (as well as some new abstract designs). The authentic appearance is further heightened with micro-bevelled edges and deep embossed textures.
Milliken’s LVT range is accredited with the highest physical performance classification: Class 34 Very Heavy Commercial Use and comes with a 12 year wear guarantee. Milliken’s multi-layered LVT provides excellent stain and abrasion resistance. The product boasts an impressive 0.7mm wear layer to reduce scuffs, stains, scratches and ensure unsurpassed performance. Milliken’s LVT range achieves CE mark safety categories for fire, static and slip, R10 and BS slip resist ratings - low to moderate in wet and dry.
