psychologically leave their workspace whilst on lunch, or before and after work, further enhancing wellbeing through office interior design.
Planned Office Interiors also installed CFS CityWalk plank in Toronto Twilight, a dark grey carpet tile. CFS CityWalk offers a tile and plank range which has been designed to allow installers to be creative with layouts and formats, creating a unique appearance in urban and commercial spaces.
Available in nine colours and two formats - a 50 x 50cm tile and a 25 x 100cm plank - CFS CityWalk offers endless versatile design options. The products can be laid in ashlar, semi ashlar, quarter turn, herringbone and random configurations, dependent on the design specification required.
Moreover, CFS CityWalk is easy to clean and maintain, is BREEAM rated and comes with a 20-year warranty, making it perfect for commercial settings.
CFS products are available exclusively from Carpet & Flooring, which also supplied the artificial grass installed within the office. The Lavish Lawns range, which is a new addition to the Carpet & Flooring portfolio, features seven natural colours. With the potential to also be installed in outdoor environments in place of grass, where a natural lawn would not be viable, it is a great interior design choice when installed inside.
In this instance, the product was installed indoors to complement the biophilic theme requested and create a breakaway space for employees to enjoy during downtime. Planned Office Interiors specified Lavish Lawns in ‘Meadow’, a 42mm artificial grass for the Croud offices. Installed in rolls, Lavish Lawns can easily be cut to fit any required space.

Planned Office Interiors installed the product in an abstract wave design, creating a statement floor covering for the office.
The different pile heights of LVT, CityWalk and Lavish Lawns was an innovative choice by Planned Office Interiors, which also purchased a range of supporting products from Carpet & Flooring for the project, including transition clips and a range of adhesives.
To complement the aesthetically motivated floor choices, bench desking using shared legs were installed throughout the office, with white desk tops further emphasising the crisp, fresh look of the office.
Splashes of colour were introduced throughout the office by using different colours on the operator chairs seat pads, providing a stark contrast to the neutral tones of the floorcoverings. To emphasise this further, single glazed partitions were installed with Croud’s black and yellow designed manifestation. The partitions helped keep on open feel throughout the office, whilst adding an additional element of modern design and colour.
Neil Rowley, Office Furniture & Project Manager at Planned Office Interiors, said of the project: “This project gave our team the opportunity to flex their creative muscles. And by incorporating different flooring types we turned a floor into a beautiful feature.”
The renovation, in its entirety, took a week to complete. All members of staff were relocated during this period to ensure a fast turnaround, arriving back at their office to an open, fresh and stylish interior design, with a focus on employee wellbeing.
