TRIMS + GROUT + SEALANT
It’s a simple idea. Mapei Color is a collection of trims that match Mapei’s grouts and sealants, and it’s made a real difference. Working with our colleagues at Profilpas S.p.A, we developed a range of aluminium profiles in 16 Ultracolor Plus shades, giving designers and installers a true colour-matched finish rather than a ‘close enough’ compromise. Since launch, Mapei Color has quickly become one of the most successful Profilpas introductions in recent years. The concept has clicked with both
specifiers and installers because it solves a familiar problem. It’s practical, easy to order, and it delivers a clean, professional look that elevates even the most straightforward installation.
The Mapei Color range fits naturally within what we call the Mapei Complete Solution – adhesives, grouts, sealants and now trims, all working together. Feedback from across the trade has been consistently positive: a quality finish, a durable coating, and a system that makes choosing and installing colour- matched profiles simple. Mapei S.p.A has also strengthened stock availability across the palette, ensuring the range remains accessible for projects of all sizes.
Since its launch, the Mapei Color range has expanded, with a new 6mm height now available. In the UK, 8mm, 10mm and 12.5mm trims remain the most popular formats but the introduction widens scope for the future.
