Sika Schonox HS-50 is a thick layer unique and innovative hybrid levelling screed containing Patented Active Dry Technology. It combines the flowability and surface finish of a calcium sulphate screed whilst possessing the rapid-curing properties of cement- based systems. Largely unaffected by humidity and temperature, Sika Schonox HS-50 allows for applications in the summer and winter months without curing issues.
Impressively, the Schonox HS-50 achieves an SR1 finish as standard and is ready for vinyl, carpet, LVT or lino application after just 48 hours even at 50mm thick. Stress-free, it can be used with a wide range of applications, from uses in commercial and industrial areas as part of renovation, or application onto new build substrates in the health and education and hospitality sectors.
Schonox HS-50 uniquely combines the advantages of a low- tension calcium sulphate-based levelling compound in terms of zero shrinkage and flatness with the fast drying nature and high mechanical performance of cementitious systems.

Schonox HS-50 is suitable for an application thickness of between 3mm and 50mm without cracking and is even able to be applied in combination with thin layer water fed or electric infloor heating systems. Where subfloor preparation is not possible due to contamination, structural failure etc, Schonox HS-50 can also be used in combination Schonox Renotex 3D reinforcing mat to provide a completely independent floating flooring system capable of taking extreme loads.
