Pacvac began operating in Perth, WA, in 1978, and we manufacture and supply Australian-designed vacuum cleaners to the commercial cleaning industry. We continually observe, implement, and evolve, combining purpose and practicality for cleaners of the world, resulting in our backpack vacuum cleaners being the professional cleaning industry’s number one choice.

Velo is one of the lightest cordless backpack vacuums on the market, weighing just 4.6kg, giving the user complete freedom to move and get the job completed efficiently and quickly.
Velo has a breathable harness featuring an inbuilt cooling channel. This prevents users from feeling hot or uncomfortable as they work. Velo has an optional waistband that the user can choose to wear to maximise comfort and support.
Another feature for Velo is the adjustable hose that suits both left and right-handed users – operated by swinging from side to side in a simple movement.
The brushless motor in this compact vacuum provides a high power-to-weight ratio, meaning higher speeds and extended motor life, giving Velo strong suction power and performance.
Velo provides the user with up to 50 minutes of runtime. Powered by advanced lithium-ion BMS technology, it gives users the power they need to complete a deep clean. Two batteries can charge simultaneously in only 1hr 45m, allowing users to power up and continue cleaning throughout the day.
Our team invented Velo to use 28% less plastic than any other machine in our range, and any plastic we did use is entirely recyclable. Pacvac is on a sustainable journey, gradually introducing recycled post-consumer polyester (rPET) into our product range. This eco-material begins with Velo’s harness, made from 100% rPET certified with a Global Recycled Standard of 4.0.
We want users to replace parts, not products, so we built Velo using long-lasting materials and a design minimising the number of vacuums contributing to landfills and fewer carbon emissions by producing endless machines as replacements.
Velo is suited for many industries, including transportation and hospitality, with its compact size and ability to get to hard-to-reach spaces.
