The model encourages construction projects by private investors, which is beneficial for the Chinese population and has a positive impact on the demand for cement pumps, excavators and cranes. Some machines are so sought-after that manufacturers have to add extra shifts to cover the demand. Sales of cement machinery and Caterpillar cranes have tripled compared to last year. Six months prior to its
opening, bauma China announced some positive figures: “The current demand for exhibition space exceeds our expectations,” said

Messe München is pleased about
the return of a giant in the sector: Caterpillar, leading manufacturer of construction equipment, will be present this year for the first time since its last attendance in 2012. Well-known names such as Bauer, Liebherr, Volvo and Wirtgen have also signed up. l
