Smart Sense: From Sensing to Truly Seeing Environmental Data. Founded in 2013, Smart Sense is a research and development-driven technology company specializing in IoT sensor solutions with a particular focus on environmental monitoring. With in-house research and development, a production facility and a calibration and validation lab, we create high- quality solutions while providing end-to-end solution development and manufacturing services to our partners. This approach has also enabled us to develop our own products, notably the Sensees Air Quality Monitoring System and the Energee Meter. Unlike many companies that rely on third party suppliers, Smart Sense has a fully in-house production facility. This allows us not only to maintain the highest quality standards in rapidly prototyping, testing and optimizing our own solutions, but also to provide a wide range of services to external customers. For more than 50 years, the VICI companies have been a leading designer and manufacturer of components for precision analytical, biomedical, and biocompatible instrumentation. Companies under the VICI umbrella serve five continents with a diverse product line that includes liquid and gas valves, sample injectors and selectors, pneumatic and electric actuators, tubing, syringes, temperature controllers, gas generators, gas purifiers, and GC detectors. With over 150 state-of-the-art CNC machines, our instruments and components are manufactured to exacting standards. VICI produces a complete line of valves for analytical chemistry. We specialize in zero dead volume fittings and filters for the separation sciences and are the original creators of the pulse discharge detector (PDD). Our miniPDD consumes less than one-fifth the amount of helium required by the PDDs used on complete GC systems. It has similar sensitivity to the original PDD with a slightly lower dynamic range. Our VICI Metronics division produces PEEK, FEP, PFA, and ETFE tubing, ambient temperature gas purifiers, ValcoBond GC capillary columns, and Dynacal gas calibration standards. VICI Precision Sampling manufactures analytical quality syringes, sampling probes, as well as standard and custom formed stainless and special alloy tubing. VICI AG International produces some Valco products as well as the Jour line of HPLC fittings and lab safety products. VICI DBS builds our new line of laboratory hydrogen, nitrogen and zero air gas generators. Our newest products include the C82 line of UHPLC valves, fittings that permit direct connection of 360 um tubing, the Universal valve actuator, and the C52 platform integrated HPLC injectors and selectors.
