CEM Welcome to Ljubljana

Plan your time well, the Scientific committee have excelled themselves and put together an extensive 3-day conference programme focusing on Emissions monitoring, Air Quality and Air Quality networks, Methane Measurement featuring regulatory developments, technology innovations and much much more. International experts and regulatory bodies will address challenges and solutions for industry and users.

The conference opens with discussions on the evolving regulatory landscape, including

the implications of the revised Industrial Emissions Directive (IED 2.0) and tightening global standards. Sessions will explore practical approaches to improving performance-based emissions measurement, updates on key standards such as EN14181, and quality assurance requirements across various monitoring systems.

Delegates can choose from three parallel streams each afternoon, covering topics such as particulate matter measurement, real-time fenceline monitoring, air quality network integration, and greenhouse gas emissions. The IMM Industrial Methane Measurement conference will be running alongside CEM, this conference track is open to all delegates and will provide an in-depth insight into detection technologies, field validation campaigns, and regulatory compliance related to methane emissions.

Further sessions will highlight innovations in CCUS monitoring, advanced instrumentation, artificial intelligence, and data acquisition systems. The programme also includes focused discussions on emerging pollutants like PFAS, nitrosamines, and ultrafine particles, alongside case studies from industrial applications.

With an emphasis on practical implementation and cross-sector collaboration, CEM and IMM are networking platforms for professionals committed to improving Air and emissions measurement and supporting the transition to cleaner, more sustainable industrial practices.

Lunches and Refreshments will be served in the exhibition hall where visitors and delegates will have the opportunity to discuss their current and future projects with technical experts from the leading Air Monitoring instrument manufacturers and service providers.

Have Fun and Enjoy this meeting. Marcus Pattison
