Taking our repairs to the next level P

LANS to take our repairs service to the next level are making progress. Customers have told us they want a flexible service that is good value for money and is delivered by dedicated local teams. Our parent company Wheatley agreed a new joint venture with Glasgow City Council which saw it become 50/50 joint owner of City Building (Glasgow) on 1 April, 2017. This jointly-owned company is delivering repairs to our customers in the west of Scotland. Our repairs in the east continue to be

provided by Dunedin Canmore’s Property Services Team.

Now all the partners in Wheatley

are taking the opportunity to listen to customers and to work together to design a repairs service that delivers outstanding levels of service. The aim is for each of our areas to have

a repairs team people know and trust, and who will work hand in hand with our factoring staff. YourPlace boss Karen Durnian said: “Customer feedback is playing a major part in shaping the repairs service and getting it right first time for every customer. Our plans for an improved repairs service are progressing and we hope customers will notice a difference soon.”

The search is on for volunteers

IF YOU fancy being a part of sporting history, volunteering with Glasgow 2018 could be just for you. Glasgow is hosting the inaugural 2018 European Championships, which will see thousands of athletes compete in sports including cycling, gymnastics and triathlon.

Organisers are looking for 3000 enthusiastic volunteers in roles, including spectator services, transport and media. You need to be over 16 and the closing date is July 31. You don’t need any previous experience of volunteering as the organisers are looking for volunteers with all different types of experience for many

different roles. You don’t even need to

have a strong knowledge of sport - as long as you are passionate about helping people and meeting visitors they would love to hear from you.

LATER this year we will be launching our new-look YourPlace website. The website will be designed for mobile, tablet or desktop users. Customers are helping us design the site – telling us what they want to see and do online. We’ve made it quick and simple to pay your bills and report a repair using our online self-services. You’ll also be able to

request appointments using the online forms. The website will make it easy to find the optional services we offer to our customers. You’ll also be able to get in touch and have your say about our services, your community and more. We’re on schedule to launch

towards the end of the year, so watch out for the new site coming soon. If there’s something you’d

like to see on our website, just drop us an email: talk@ your-place.net
