UNILIN Panels enters a Classic State of Mind
MOODS are the latest inspiration for designers from UNILIN Panels. Giving a broad playing field to fuel creativity, MOODS is a series of collaborative projects between UNILIN Panels and design studios. In the third of the series, Ghent-based Studio Woot Woot, delivers CLASSIC STATE OF MIND, a palette in-tune with the sophisticated reserve of large corporations, law practices and architecture firms. UNILIN Evola provides the surface finishes to update the stately and staid for an interior with an effortless, timeless character. Colours of black and cognac combined in clean lines exude certainty and dependability, and with the addition of soft pink and gold accessories these spaces take on a more empathetic and sensitive manner. CLASSIC STATE OF MIND defines five finishes in the UNILIN collection: the authentic coloured MDF of Fibralux in Black Super Matt, Mercury Grey and Meteor Grey, as well as Lorenzo Walnut Medium Brown and Brushed Gold from UNILIN Evola. UNILIN Evola finishes are durable and easy to maintain and can be used to bring the mood to work surfaces, walls, doors, desktops, panels and much more.

Quantum Flooring Solutions is excited to announce the launch of its new recessed heavy duty stair nosing. This high performance profile has been developed to be fitted on staircases for commercial and public buildings where a recessed stair nosing is required. Quantum’s highly durable new stair nosing is specifically designed for venues with high levels of foot traffic. It incorporates a low slip-potential tread, along with grooves in the metal at the front and back of the stair nosing, helping to ensure the safe movement of people in both dry and wet conditions. This makes it ideal for projects such as stadiums, university campuses or transport infrastructure. The new stair nosing can be fitted with Quantum’s EcoGlo photoluminescent tread, making it excellent for installation in low-light or outside areas. It has been designed to adhere to all relevant guidelines in the Equality Act (formerly the DDA) and Building Regulations best practice. The profile is also compatible with Quantum’s Plus-Tread material, for extra grip and safety. This heavy duty stair nosing from Quantum can be affixed to most types of recessed staircases.
