The Plant Centre next to Ludlow Farmshop in Bromfield near Ludlow is a real treasure trove for gardeners. Its range of perennials is more or less guaranteed to make you say, “oh maybe I can squeeze these in … “.
The ever -increasing range of pots and planters on offer has helped people do just that! There has also been amazing growth in the houseplants department too, in more ways than one - and no sign of the outdoors-in trend slowing down.
The Plant Centre has lots to offer non-gardeners too: lovely cards and gifts, rugs and throws for example, plus outdoor living accessories including lights and citronella candles. If you need advice on growing fruit and veg, wildflowers or anything else, the Centre’s staff are always happy to help.
For those traveling with furkids, they are extremely welcome on-lead, water is provided and the site has space for eating outdoors with canine company. With the Farmshop offering playground facilities, a restaurant and kiosk selling delicious handmade ice cream, this small but perfectly formed garden centre is the icing on the cake of a perfect Summer day out.
