Welcome to the July and sizzling edition of Live 24-Seven and our long-awaited summer. Pubs and restaurants are now back open, we can enjoy the company of our friends at home and slowly life is returning to normal.
Whilst foreign travel is still not without its difficulties, there is certainly plenty we can enjoy at home.

If you’re looking for some staycation or days out advice, take a look at our feature on the new Sip Drink Tour trail in Herefordshire which takes you to some of the county’s finest artisan food and drinks producers, specifically cider. We also put the spotlight on Ludlow, just over the county border, and see what this lovely medieval town has to offer – not least its magnificent castle.
I was also lucky enough to enjoy a few days down on the south coast at Felpham which proved there plenty to love about our own country’s coastal towns for those yearning for a little sea air.
In our fashion section we showcase some hot summer looks for the ladies and for the men, tips on giving your wardrobe a makeover with a few simple tweaks. After months of lockdown and minimal socialising it’s lovely to be able to get dressed up once more.

With the summer months comes delicious fresh produce and what can be better than gorgeous fruit grown in this country. The fruit farms should all have strawberries, raspberries and currants in abundance now. We bring a couple of recipes that use strawberries not in the usual puds but in savoury dishes so why not ring the changes and give them a try.
And if you are at home and looking for some horticultural inspiration check out our monthly column with landscape designer Sara Edwards who shares some great tips on transforming your garden.
