Tuesday, July 13, 5:30 p.m. at InsideOUT in Hillcrest After an 18-month hiatus, the San Diego Equality Business Association will bring back in-person events. Join the group for the annual Pride Mixer presented by their friends at US Bank. Bring your business cards and greet your fellow members face- to-face once again. Attire: Pride festive!
SPIRIT OF STONEWALL RALLY
Friday, July 16, 6 p.m. at Hillcrest Pride Flag San Diego traditionally launches Pride
weekend with a celebration that recognizes leaders who are working hard to preserve LGBTQ gains, and to meet the many chal- lenges facing our collective community. The Spirit of Stonewall Awards will honor individuals who contribute significantly to the LGBTQ community through their leadership, activism and fund-raising efforts.
SHE FEST
Saturday, July 10, 1 p.m. at Hillcrest Pride Flag at Pride Square The annual flagship event that kicks off
San Diego’s LGBTQ Pride week will be held at a new location this year in the heart of Hillcrest. The hybrid celebration is filled with virtual content and in-person experi- ences for San Diego’s LGBTQ women and non-binary folks. Enjoy live music, activities, vendors, community groups, workshops, interviews and more.
LIGHT UP THE CATHEDRAL
Wednesday, July 14, 7 p.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral Enjoy an evening with Dean Penny Bridges and other faith leaders as we gather, in person, to celebrate our faith and resilience as well as remember those we have lost in the past year.
VIRTUAL PRIDE 5K
Friday, July 16 through Monday, July 19 Run (or walk) with a purpose at this year’s fun, wacky and rainbow-rific event. This year’s event will again be virtual so you can complete your 5K wherever you choose.
RESILIENT COMMUNITY MARCH
Sunday, July 11, 11 a.m. at Balboa Park Rather than the typical Pride Parade, this year San Diego Pride is going back to its roots and taking to the streets. Meet at Balboa Park, starting at Upas Street and Sixth Avenue, and join the march to Hillcrest to reconnect after a year of isolation due to the pandemic. Bring your most festive prideful attire, flags, protest signs, and messages of hope and resilience.

Thursday, July 15 and Sunday, July 18, 6 p.m. at InsideOUT After more than a year apart, your most
fierce and fabulous local drag queens are reuniting to help us all celebrate Pride in bold, bright and beautiful style. Revel in all the glitz, glam and joy of Paris Sukomi Max’s True Colors show at Hillcrest’s urban oasis bar lounge and restaurant.
PRIDE BLOCK PARTY
Friday, July 16 and Saturday, July 17 at Hillcrest Pride Flag Although the San Diego Pride Parade has been put on hold again this year, the annual Block Party has been expanded to two days. The fete kicks off with a Friday Pride-Day Happy Hour and continues through the weekend with dance parties, drag perfor- mances, a beer garden, VIP lounges, food trucks and vendors.
