largest events held during Taber’s Cornfest celebration. “With about 300 cars attend-


ing each year, prizes are awarded for Best Paint, Best Antique and a number of other categories.” Members also held a charity car show for senior residents at one of the town’s senior facilities. “We try to raise funds for the res- idents to take them for ice cream or to the park,” it was stated. This way residents did’t


need to come to a car show — the car show came to the residents. It was stated, recently, the club decided to


return to its roots and once again took on the banner of the Gear Lords. “With the re- turn to our former name, we look to honour the past, as we drive toward the future,” it was stated.
