1 Choose any one of the topics listed below or choose your own topic: • favourite chips • favourite movie • favourite comic strip • favourite subject at school • the colour of your hair • favourite food or drink


2 Make a questionnaire. a Draw up a list of questions on one of the topics in question 1.


b For each question, give a selection of answers to choose from (not more than six choices).


3 Let at least 20 learners answer your questionnaire. Record the data.


4 Use a tally table to organise your data.


5 Represent your data in a horizontal or vertical pictograph or a horizontal or vertical bar graph. Label your graph.


6 Analyse your graph and write a short report about the data you collected. Include the following in your report: a most popular b least popular c any other interesting result
