The National Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statements


The National Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statements (NCAPS) replace the National Curriculum Statements Grades R–9 and the National Curriculum Statements Grades 10–12 with effect from January 2012. The NCAPS provide a comprehensive document for each Subject that replaces the old Subject Statements, Learning Programme Guidelines and Subject Assessment Guidelines in Grades R–12.
