It started to feel like old times again with getting together and seeing your faces. event at the Cincinnati Zoo on Friday May 14. This is the first time our group has visited the zoo and we look forward to having a few “surprise” animal visitors to our meeting that day. If you have not signed up yet for this event, please reach out to the association and they will get you registered. Please note the deadline to reserve


your tickets is Friday, May 7. Tickets must be picked up in the GCNKAA office between Monday, May 10 and Thursday, May 13 during office hours. Today - more than ever - the legislative committee needs your


time and effort. We are constantly facing legislation from both sides of the river and by cities large and small. Just this week, Cincinnati City Council put in place new language which allows for what’s called Pay-to-Stay. Councilman Landsman brought forth two items to vote and fortunately one was voted down which would have further extended the eviction process. Thanks to all of you who reached out to council individually to explain the impact it would have had on our industry. We are asking for your help! We need as many eyes and ears as possible to be in tune with what is being discussed in your area. Please help us reach out to those decision makers insuring our side is heard. We need our voices to be heard. As they say, “Have a seat at the table but don’t be on the menu.” Please reach out to join our efforts. I look forward to seeing everyone at the Cincinnati Zoo on
