Effective cleaner for stainless steel
Non-slip boat decking material
A teak-effect boat decking from Gisatex of Germany provides a durable, long-lasting floor covering for all yachts. As its name implies, Antislide marine floor exhibits good non-slip properties and can be fitted to the hull shape perfectly. Being only 2 mm thick, the material is easy to apply and, once installed, it seals the deck against water and dampness. The Antislide marine floor is made of 100% PVC, with a textile backing that ensures permanent
adhesion to the deck when laid with a full surface adhesive. It is resistant to temperature extremes, salt water and ultra- violet light, and is thus a hard- wearing deck, with a long service life, which resists abrasion and distortion. The dimpled surface profile
lends the material its non-slip quality and creates a pleasant feeling under foot. Gisatex GmbH & Co Kg

eox & Fit from Italian stainless steel specialists Nitty-Gritty Srl is a cleaner developed for
the effective deoxidation and re-passivation of stainless steel. The operation can be carried out on board the boat without dismantling the item to be cleaned (door handles, deck cleats, handrails and all kinds of marine hardware). The product is easy to use:
first, the Deox wipe is rubbed on the stainless steel parts to be
treated and in just a few seconds the oxidation on the steel will disappear; next, the Fit component of the product is sprayed over the surface to act both as a neutraliser and to prevent future corrosion; and finally, the steel part is polished with a dry cloth. These three quick steps will make the treated surface look as good as new and be protected from further oxidation. Nitty-Gritty Srl

Barcelona and La Ciotat shipyards. As such, it has launched a 2021-25 sustainability plan with which it aims to consolidate its position as a leader in environmental care in the superyacht refit industry. The result is a five-year plan, which will tackle six key areas of focus: ● Reducing the shipyards’ carbon footprint.
● Reducing combustible gas emissions.
● Minimising non-recoverable waste.
● Improving port and sea water quality.
● Reducing VOC emissions. ● Improving social responsibility. A significant multi-million Euro
investment will be allocated for the Group to execute the goals that have been set with a large proportion to be invested in environmentally-efficient infrastructure and innovation.
A number of initiatives are
planned for the initial year and are designed not only to reduce the impact that the activity has on the environment, but will also offer benefits to clients in terms of greater efficiency and simplifying many processes such as shore power connections and waste management. MB92 Group
