CONQUERING LIHTC COMPLIANCE Created by Amanda Lee Gross, the “Conquering Low Income
Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Compliance” is a two-day, 16-hour course specially designed to assist affordable housing profession- als in conquering LIHTC project compliance. Amanda Lee delves deep into the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit laws and regula- tions, while also providing real-world examples with practical ap- plication. This engaging and interactive session utilizes numerous examples and exercises to ensure attendees complete the session with a thorough comprehension of how to maintain project com- pliance, and why it is so important to do so. This course is April 13 and April 14 from 8:30 am to 5pm,
and April 15 from 8:30 to 1:30pm (optional test day). There is one more in-person spot available; virtual live stream option avail- able!
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ISSUES FOR HOUSING
PROVIDERS With Alona Ballard of Housing Opportunities Made Equal of
Greater Cincinnati While domestic violence, intimate partner violence and stalk- ing have always been a serious issue for housing providers, the pandemic has increased the numbers of calls to support hotlines as survivors spend more time sheltering in place. This course will look at the laws that help protect survivors and those who provide housing to them, the resources available to assist survivors and look at relevant court cases in the area of housing and domestic violence.
This course is Tuesday, April 20 from 2 pm to 3:30 pm and
will be held virtually via Zoom. The price for members is $69 per person; price for non-members is $138 per person.

How service affects sales including the proper way to show a rent- al unit and the community grounds, move-in ready and preventive maintenance and service requests. This class will also discuss the importance of representing your company properly, knowing your product, promoting your product and pricing your product. Part 1 is scheduled for May 19 from 10 am to 12 pm; Part 2 is scheduled for May 26 from 10 am to 12 pm. Member price is $69 per person; non-Member price is $138 per person.
CERTIFIED POOL AND SPA OPERATOR (CPO) This course is designed to provide the knowledge necessary
to operate and manage public pools and spas. The PHTA (NSPF) Certified Pool & Spa Operator class fulfills the local & state re- quirements for certification for pool service technicians as defined in more than half of the states in the US. Certification requires 16 hours of classroom instruction and a passing score on the exam. Certification is valid for five years. This course is scheduled for May 20 from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm and on May 21 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Cost for members is $299 and for non-members is $349.
