Hello everyone. I hope you are healthy and business is
returning
to “the new normal” as we head into spring. I wanted to start by thanking the Greater

Apartment Association (GCNKAA staff), the Associate Council and the Business Exchange Committee for a very well done, successful Business Exchange on March 17. I must say, after taking part in a number of large online events all over the country during the last year, ours was the best run meeting from a technology stand-
point. It provided a great platform for our group. This event is always my favorite, and the way we moved around during the ses- sion provided each group the chance to interact with a number of
members. I think we at BRG Apartments had 21 meetings! Thank you GCNKAA staff. In April we have Bob Pinnegar, President and CEO of the
National Apartment Association (NAA), as our guest for the April meeting which will be held on Friday, April 16 at 9:00 AM. Please mark your calendars for this event. Bob does a great job leading NAA and is a great representative of our industry. I look forward to having Bob be part of our meeting schedule and having a chance to show off our GCNKAA members. In May, we will host our first return to in-person events with a
networking outing scheduled for Friday, May 14. We are finalizing the details and will release the information as soon as everything is set. Hopefully the weather will be sunny and we can enjoy hav- ing our group back together again in person. We are all looking forward to be together again.
