WE ARE CELEBRATING OUR 7TH BIRTHDAY! So, just over 7 years ago after doing lots of research, we knew we had to launch what Rugby was missing - a bold, aspirational lifestyle magazine. Who was ever to know that while on deadline with that first issue, my amazing mum (Mimi) was to fall seriously ill with a ruptured brain aneurism - she didn’t ever wake up, she was just 68. I know that she would have been extremely proud of me that we really dug deep at such a difficult time and got the launch magazine out. I remember with fondness, driving down Ashlawn Road hugging the first ever copy, beaming with pride... wondering if my mum (who was in critical care) would ever wake up and see it. She didn’t wake up and went to play with the angels on March 31st 2014. I miss my mum so very much every day and I am writing this to encourage you as we ease out of lockdown - if you have a dream, just go for it, like I did. Our readers (you) and our loyal advertisers tell me it was the right decision and I am forever grateful. Thank you.
