Oceanic Systems Launches Poseidon 7, the First of the Poseidon System Range Expansion
Poseidon 7 offers both sail and power boats the ability to monitor and control any vessel data and display it effortlessly on the small, yet powerful display unit.
Ideal for 25-60ft vessels of all types, the NMEA2000® certified Poseidon 7 monitors and controls any systems from tank levels, engines, AC and DC power and digital switching, bilge and fire detection systems, and all other vessel systems with ease.
Poseidon 7 can be configured by the user to create a multipage data and control display using the simple drag and drop editor. With a library of options for gauges and controls, and the ability to import schematics, images and backgrounds, it provides total flexibility.
Yanmar Extends Free Service Period for SHIPSWEB Auxiliary Diesel Engine Management Service
Yanmar Engineering Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Yanmar Holdings Co., Ltd. is to extend its waiver of the service charge for its auxiliary diesel engine management service “SHIPSWEB” to March 31, 2022.
YANMAR has been providing SHIPSWEB free of charge from April 15, 2020 with the waiver set to expire on March 31, 2021. However, amid concerns that the impact of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) will be prolonged, Yanmar has decided to extend the free service period.
Period SHIPSWEB will be available free of charge until March 31, 2022. Note that applications will not be accepted after December 21, 2021.

Damen Shipyards Group Strengthens Executive Board
As of April 1st, Ronald Suhlmann will become Chief Financial Officer of Damen Shipyards Group. He succeeds Tom Touber, who held this position ad interim for two years.
Ronald started his career at Ballast Nedam and moved to Damen in 2015, where
the Register
Controller was both Financial Director of the Naval and Yachting divisions. With his appointment as CFO, Suhlmann becomes a member of the Executive Board of Damen.
In addition, the areas of risk, compliance and legal are invested more firmly within the
Executive Board
through the creation of the new role of Chief Counsel. As of April 1st, this will be filled by Mario Herrebout, current general counsel and company secretary. Mario has been in service with Damen Naval since 2009 and switched to Damen Group at the end of 2019.
