BUSINESS REPORT

PEGASUS ENJOYS YEAR OF GROWTH

A training provider saw its business increase last year despite the onset of the coronavirus pandemic. Pegasus Lift Truck Training

has more than 25 years’ experience of delivering high quality forklift training. It believes its success last year can be attributed to its willingness to adapt to meet clients’ specific needs - it even developed a new bespoke course at the request of long- standing customer, and fellow Chamber member, Alpro. Pegasus co-owner Dawn

Girardi said: “Alpro are always very supportive of us and we were delighted to be asked to develop an Emergency Evacuation Escape Techniques course specifically for working with Very Narrow Aisle trucks. “Collaboration is at the heart

of everything we do and we are proud to deliver training for a range of manufacturers, retail companies and government agencies.”

step ahead is to adopt digital technologies sooner,” explained Simon Pickering, managing director of dbfb, which delivers ultra-fast internet, telecoms and cloud-based services. Healthy businesses are already

aware that digital systems are a prerequisite. However, the systems are only as good as the team's
