Chancery Properties look back into the past and are now looking forward to the future.

hancery Properties was founded in July 2019, shortly before the tenant fee ban came into force.


We saw an opportunity in the market for an agency that was actually qualified to help landlords, but wasn’t reliant on huge fees to operate. Whilst many agencies started to charge up to 90% rent, just for finding a tenant, we were offering a far more comprehensive service at a much better price. In addition to our lower prices, we wanted to introduce a level of qualified agent that isn’t currently the norm across the private rental sector. We wanted to use Kieran’s experience built up over many years working in Social Housing, managing some of the most challenging tenancies, in some of the most deprived areas of the UK. Tis experience and in- depth knowledge of landlord-tenant law has been vital during the pandemic as it

allows us to work proactively to prevent rent arrears and other concerns, ensuring our landlords get paid and no one is evicted! 2020 has been a challenging year to start a business, but with hard work and dedication to our customers, we have found significant success. We hope to emulate this success in 2021 when we will start accepting residential sales instructions!
