Royal patron Eugenie expecting rst child

PRINCESS Eugenie has an- nounced she is expecting her first child with husband Jack Brooks- bank. The Queen and Prince Philip’s granddaughter, who is also Royal Patron of the European School of Osteopathy in Maidstone, is ex- pecting a baby in early 2021. The world-renowned provider of osteopathic education, based at Boxley House, appointed Eugenie (30) as its patron in 2017. The school also has a clinic in Tonbridge Road, Maidstone. Princess Eugenie has had a long- standing interest in musculoskele- tal healthcare, having undergone back surgery as a child to correct a scoliosis condition.

ESO Chancellor Dr Paula Fletcher said at the time: “It’s an absolute pleasure having Her Royal Highness as our patron. “The school aims to bring af- fordable osteopathic care to the whole community and it’s won-

derful to have the Princess’s sup- port for our work.” The royal is also a keen sup- porter of charities that make a dif- ference to people with similar disorders.

Buckingham Palace said in a statement: “Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to an- nounce that they are expecting a baby in early 2021.” “The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York, Mr and Mrs George Brooksbank, The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh are delighted with the news.” Eugenie is 10th in line to the throne, and her child will be 11th. On her Instagram account, Eu- genie posted a picture of a pair of baby slippers and wrote: “Jack and I are so excited for early 2021”, with a baby emoji.

Their child will be the ninth great-grandchild for the 94-year- old queen.
