Brockmans Gin Launches Unbreakable Copa ‘Glasses’ for On-Trade
Brockmans Gin and its distributor, Cellar Trends, are launching premium unbreakable copa ‘glasses’ to help ease the burdens of the on- trade emerging from lock-down.
The unbreakable branded stemware is made from the premium plastic material TRITAN and is perfect for Gin & Tonics. Unbreakable plastic ‘glasses’ will be welcomed by the trade for outside drinking as the material avoids accidents.
The vessels are being offered to key accounts by Cellar Trends, Brockmans Gin’s sales and distribution agency. Whilst Brockmans is consumed year-round, G&T remains one of the most popular summer serves. The ‘glasses’ will assist the trade in overcoming the tight profit margins that will result from social distancing and outdoor drinking.
Cellar Trends is also offering ‘Spirits
Kickstart Kits’ comprising Brockmans Gin and Double Dutch Tonic.
The focus for distributing the 3000 ‘glasses’ will be on major pub groups and also the city centre bars and restaurants that will now be moving their bar models out onto the streets. Distribution commenced in August and some councils including the Borough of Westminster, which is doing much to support the trade, are insisting on unbreakable stemware for outdoor drinking.
TRITAN is clear in appearance, feels good in the hand and looks just like glass so is a perfect choice of material for a super-premium gin like Brockmans. TRITAN is also durable and capable of being washed up to 350 times in a dishwasher after which the material can be recycled.
Laura Motson, Global Brand Manager for Brockmans said: “We are keen to help the on-trade get down to business
as much as we can. Venue managers will have hundreds of details to watch over after the beginning of July and we hope that our unbreakable TRITAN stemware will make things easier.
“Brockmans Gin, with its distinctive blueberry, blackberry and bitter-sweet orange notes, is so smooth that it can even be served neat over ice. A G&T is another perfect simply serve that is ideal for bars to offer at a time when service needs to minimise customer contact. Complicated cocktails will be off the menu for a time and a beautifully served G&T will be welcomed by staff and guests, we believe.”
The Brockmans TRITAN ‘glasses’ are available while stocks last. Any venues wishing to express interest in obtaining these should speak with their Cellar Trends representative or email:
