was delighted to receive my first senior nations cup invitation. The chance to compete for your Country is an

absolute honour. We are a very patriotic family and no one was ever more proud of riding for Team GB than my Dad. My first trip is going to be to Drammen in Norway. It is a long way to go for one show but I am very keen to make the most of this opportunity. I will be taking Don Diego de Plata (Didi) owned by Mr Christian Matthews and Cacharel owned by Mrs Joy Cocklin. Sadly they are not able to go to the show themselves due to the Covid rules but they will be able to watch it on the Live Stream sent out by the show, and we are fortunate that showjumping is going ahead under the circumstances. On the team with me is Will Funnell, Jack Whitaker, Georgia Thame and Emily Moffitt.
In preparation for the trip I took the horses out to their first show at Keysoe in Bedford. They all jumped very well, Angelique was super, she is getting more and more confident in the ring. Vedet also felt very good, he was so confident he popped in one, in a two strides double! My heart was in my mouth for a moment. days, Kandleford (Tom), also owned by Ann and Colin, wasn’t quite quick enough but I am trying out some new bits from Neue Schule so it was really good to have a chance to jump in the ring in them. Tom was very strong when he first arrived, but with help from Will Funnell we are trying to get him to soften and listen to me more. I ride him in a very soft bit on the flat every day and he is much easier for me now. We are learning together. I love riding him and he has an enormous amount of power. I feel he
